Pay:

$15.00 per hour

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position is centered on day-to-day park operations and cabin cleaning. but has some rare opportunities to be exposed to other facets of the park including visitor education, resource management, visitor services, and other projects.

 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Communicate verbally and in writing
  • Perform physical labor and janitorial duties
  • Use power/electrical/gas tools and equipment
  • Deal with visitor inquiries in a tactful, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Deal with people and maintain good public relations
  • Maintain a valid driver license
  • Follow verbal and written instructions
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Perform cleaning and grounds keeping duties and apply maintenance trades
  • Skill in operating trucks, ATV/UTV, golf carts, operating mowers, standard power and manual tools
  • Basic computer skills to be able to fill in short reports and communicate effectively with internal emails and timesheets
  • Computer applications such as Microsoft Office
  • Interest in providing top-notch visitor services through the cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and high-quality visitor contact experiences

 

 

Other Job Related Requirements for this position:

Valid driver license.
