MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
 

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in marketing, business, economics, agriculture, international affairs or merchandising, and two (2) years of experience in marketing, merchandising, customer service, public relations or advertising.
 

Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
 

Requires possession of a valid Driver’s License.

JOB DUTIES:
 

Provides direct support to the Bureau’s supervisory staff.  May be occassionally assigned to conduct operations in market settings. Compiles and analyzes data from the 12 State Farmers Markets. Produces a variety of reports related to agricultural products, sales, and general market data. Leads special projects designated by supervisor. This includes, but is not limited to, Leasable Building Space Inventory, Space Inventory, FCO, Annual Summary Report, and Estate Holdings. Compiles requests from the general public for information concerning the State Markets and other agriculture related inquiries. Manages commodity reports and sales.
 

Provides direct support to the Gadsden State Farmers Market. Compile, prepare and submit market financial and commodity reports. Prepare purchase requisitions and purchasing card documentation and process invoices for payment. Prepare billing documents and record payments. Prepare bank deposits and related reports, maintain pre-numbered receipts inventory.
 

Prepare and maintain expense and revenue ledgers.
 

Gather and prepare lease creation documents and perform related calculations.
 

Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge and capability in general office procedures, databases and other technical capabilities needed to achieve superior results in missions, events and projects. Provides direct support with budget or contract management. Provides direct support in routine correspondence, purchase requisitions and monthly reports for the Bureau of State Farmers Markets.
 

Performs related duties as required.
 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
