Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee seeks a Licensed Psychologist to fill a full-time position in the Forensic Service under the state job title "Senior Behavioral Analyst F/C." This position will report to the Chief Psychologist and will perform psychological services as prioritized by the Chief Psychologist to include services such as the following: forensic psychological evaluations concerning Competence to Proceed and Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity issues within Florida's criminal laws and rules, psychological assessment and testing, interviewing, treatment planning, progress notes and other documentation, crisis intervention, group and individual treatment, consultation within the context of a multidisciplinary team, in an inpatient facility with men and women who are diagnosed with a wide range of severe mental disorders including personality disorders.

The facility operates within a Recovery model.  The position could provide clinical supervision of unlicensed psychology personnel including interns and practicum students. Diverse candidates are welcome as are those who are bilingual (Spanish or ASL are particularly welcome).  Staff housing is an option for full-time licensed psychologists who are willing to provide coverage for facility issues that may arise after hours.
