DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

This is professional work performing regulation activities or other regulatory related services and resolving consumer complaints within the Division of Elections/Bureau of Election Records and is responsible for, including but not limited to, the following duties:

  • Assist candidates and committees with filing amendments on the Division's Electronic Filing System (EFS).
  • Generate audit letters relating to incomplete or incorrect campaign treasurer reports.
  • Generate failure to file and fine letters.
  • Prepare responses to requests for documentation from the Florida Elections Commission.
  • Perform other duties as required.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Two years of clerical, administrative or job related experience

    Data entry experience

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook

    Ability to review documents for compliance and completeness

    PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    Knowledge of excel and/or PowerPoint

    Knowledge of auditing principles

    Fluent in speaking Spanish

    Experience working in a Call Center environment

    Experience processing candidate and committee filing documents or any election/regulatory related experience
