This position is a State of Florida OPS (Other Personal Services) paid hourly and will be 25 to 40 hours a week. This position will be located at the State Attorney’s Office, 10th Judicial Circuit, Bartow Office. The hourly pay starts at $14.00 an hour depending on experience.

Duties

  1. Assist with Help desk for 200+ users.
  2. Troubleshoot PC, scanning, printing, copier issues.
  3. Troubleshoot wireless connectivity in courtrooms.
  4. Maintain inventory Laptops\Desktops\ MIFIs. Document asset information (i.e. name, brand, serial number, property number).
  5. Repositioning PC workstations and new office setups. Organize cables.
  6. Setup and configure desktops, laptops, printers and scanners.
  7. Traveling to outer offices to work on printer/pc/wireless issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  1. Ability to diagnose PC, Printer, Scanner and copier issues.
  2. Familiarity with computer hardware, network printers, Scanners, Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office:  Outlook, Word and Excel.
  4. Strong Verbal and Written skills.

Minimum Training and Experience

  1. Must be a high school graduate.
  2. Student of a college or trade school acceptable: We will work around school schedule.
