Anticipated Vacancy


This is work operating radio transmitter, radio-teletype, radio-telephone, related communications equipment, and/or computer terminals to monitor and transmit information and emergency messages related to law enforcement, forest and structural fire suppression, or corrections.



  • A high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Experience in law enforcement, forestry, firefighting or other public contact work can substitute on a year -for-year basis for the required high school education

In addition to the above minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants with the following.

  • Experience dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for multiple agencies and depts (i.e. Fire/EMS, Security, Police, etc)
  • Experience monitoring fire alarm systems
  • Experience maintaining daily logs for multiple dept to include Emergency Services Depts.
