Senior Psychologist - DDDP - Chattachoochee, FL 32324

 

The Developmentally Disabled Defendant Program in Chattahoochee seeks a licensed psychologist to fill a full-time position under the state job title "Senior Behavioral Analyst F/C." This position will report to the Psychology Services Division Director and will perform psychological services as prioritized by leadership to include the following:

Conduct forensic/psychological evaluations concerning Competence to Proceed

Conduct annual civil commitment evaluations

Performs psychological assessing and testing, interviewing, treatment planning, progress noting and other relevant forms of documenting

Assists with crisis intervention

Conducts individual and group treatment of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, severe autism and/or co-occurring mental illnesses

Assists in training staff in evidence based practices deemed successful with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities

Assists in developing clinical programs for residents; oversee implementing of same

Participates as an active member of the interdisciplinary therapeutic teams and provides consultation and works collaboratively with the team

 

The position may provide time sensitive clinical supervision of unlicensed psychology personnel and master’s level clinicians

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A doctorate from an accredited college or university in psychology, one year of supervised internship experience in professional psychology, and two years of professional experience in psychology. The professional experience noted can be one year of internship and one year of residency.

 

  • A license to practice psychology in the State of Florida. The applicant cannot start in the position until official licensure can be confirmed through the Florida Department of Health.

 

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT:
