JOB SUMMARY: This is a Revenue Administrator II in the Department of Revenue’s Child Support Program Compliance Process. This position directly manages a team of 12 operational staff. The incumbent will work with the Service Center Manager to develop, implement and monitor operational plans. Communicate the strategic planning process to team members so that all levels understand the benefits derived from focused strategic initiatives to achieve the top performance for the customers served. Provide the Service Center Manager with recommendations for aligning resources. Determine resource needs and shift available resources to ensure the highest level of productivity. Analyze existing and new business requirements to determine gaps and provide solutions. Provide leadership and direction to service site team members, lead team based processes in a small site. Function as administrator, coach and advisor to team members. Provide on-the-job training to team members.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue;
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent;
  • Evidence of progressively responsible management experience in the public and/or private sector;
  • Two years’ experience working in a Child Support Program at the Revenue Specialist II level or above;
  • Two years’ experience in providing customer service and communicating through a variety of methods such as: report writing, public speaking, and written correspondence; *
  • One year of experience providing leadership and direction to a work unit or team including, but not limited to: measuring performance, prioritizing and ensuring work was produced timely and accurately, counseling, conflict resolution, professional development, motivating, and directing;
  • One year of experience working with spreadsheet, word processing, and database computer software programs such as MS Excel, Word and Access. *

SUBSTITUTIONS:

  • *A college education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required experience.

  • Standard workday of 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday through Friday.
