Job Description

 

Instruction:

Provide direct classroom instruction in areas related to the Business Enterprise management program such as business math, talking calculator, record keeping, business management and other areas that meet the needs to each student within the structure of the training modules.

Instruction will meet the individual needs, skills, and physical limitations of each client.

Instruction will assist students to develop and/or improve their work characteristics and skills needed for employment.

The incumbent will also develop curriculum to meet the requirements of the Business Enterprise training modules.

 

Evaluation/Reporting:

Work with clients to mutually establish goals.

Maintain records of goals, participation, and progress on each client, then share this information as needed in written and/or oral reports, or in staffing.

 

Preparation/Planning:

Develop lesson plans that reflect the daily objectives needed to meet the established goals.

Maintenance of equipment and supplies, keeping inventory in good repair and purchased as necessary.

 

Professional Development:

Attend workshops and conference for professional growth; participate in public education as needed, and serve as a resource person for staff, clients and the public.

Assist with student/facility/department needs as required and acquire new skills as needed to meet program changes.

Assist in training volunteers.

Perform other duties as required.
