Job Description

The essential function of the position within the organization is to coordinate and direct staff and internal support activities sustaining court program of responsibility. The position is responsible for supervising staff, planning, training, program development and implementation, complying with policy and procedures, administering related budget, and performing related administrative functions. The position works independently, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.

Education and Training Guidelines

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, criminology, social work, law, or a closely related field.


Four years of related work experience, including two years of supervisory experience. Juris Doctor degree may substitute for up to three years of related work experience.


Civil law experience required.

The Florida State Court System is a criminal justice agency. The successful applicant will be fingerprinted for the purpose of conducting a criminal history record check. Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal background check.
