This position will provide direct resident care in identified areas of need as directed by the Management Review Specialist or designee.   Resident care will include but not limited to:

  • Providing self-care and daily living skills.
  • Providing active treatment as prescribed by the Individual Support Plan.
  • Escorting residents to and from medical appointments, activities and community inclusion opportunities.
  • Documenting the safety and well-being of the residents as outlined in ADM 33 Incident Reporting.
  • Perform related work as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Must have a High School diploma.
  • Must have at minimum a year of experience working as direct care with the Intellectually Disabled population.
  • Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Must be able to maintain certification in CPR, DCI and P.A.S.S.

Functional Supervisor of the position will be Management Review Specialist (MRS) Charles L. Stanford, II

Starting salary:  $ 9.60 per hour
