Fiscal Administrative Assistant – Fiscal Division

 

Location:   E.R. Graham Building

                   1350 Northwest 12th Avenue

                   Miami, FL  33136

 

Position Overview:

 

The Fiscal Administrative Assistant in this position is a highly responsible individual who handles payment of invoices for multiple accounts.  This position greets and routes visitors to Fiscal, answers main Fiscal phone, monitors and distributes Fiscal mail, email, and accounting documents.  The work schedule for this position is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

The Job Responsibilities are:

 

  • Auditing, reconciling, and processing payment of invoices for various accounts
  • Processing litigation support requests from defense attorneys
  • Preparing manual checks
  • Maintaining cash and check receipts log
  • Answering Fiscal’s main phone line, handling or directing to responsible Fiscal team member
  • Monitoring Fiscal email box and mailbox, handling or distributing to responsible Fiscal team member
  • Coordinating or handling accounting documents to responsible person for signature or handling
  • Processing and mail hard copy warrants to vendors
  • Maintaining various Fiscal records, filing, storage, organization, etc.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

 

The Minimum Requirements are:

 

  • High School diploma or equivalency and one year of bookkeeping, clerical or accounting experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

 

The Preferred Qualifications and Skills are:

 

  • Having Accounts Payable experience
  • Having Customer Service experience
  • Having working knowledge of Excel

  • Multi-task with the ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
  • Be self-reliant and able to identify, analyze and solve problems
  • Possess and demonstrate very good oral and written communication skills
  • Be highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Possess and demonstrate the ability to perform proficiently with Microsoft Office Software

 

Starting Annual Salary:  $31,200.00
