PENDING RECLASSIFICATION TO GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS CONSULTANT II

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of distributed processing operations, procedures and equipment.
  • Knowledge of problem solving techniques.
  • Knowledge of computers and software..
  • Ability to process information logically and solve problems.
  • Ability to develop training programs related to distributed processing.
  • Ability to monitor and resolve problems with distributed systems components.
  • Ability to identify and define user task needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.

     

    THE HIRED CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING

    This is highly responsible administrative and consulting work involved in planning and assisting in the directing, training and operating of a Contact Center SharePoint site system for the Reemployment Assistance (RA) program.  The primary duty of the employee(s) in the position(s) allocated to this class is to spend the majority of time performing these functions.

  • Assists RACC operational leadership in the design and structure of SharePoint Content with appropriate hardware, operating systems software, applications software, and communications components to solve business/office problems for the local area networks.
  • Manages SharePoint content by looking for new and innovative ways to push content to end users.
  • Analyzes created content in concert with end user navigation to determine future content enhancements.
  • Works in tandem as part of the CXT (Customer Experience Team) in helping build reports, share content, analyze data while pushing continuous improvement.
  • Edits and modifies configuration files for the distributed computer operating systems software, applications software, and for communications with other computers, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
  • Responsibilities include assisting in coordination and efficiency of administrative, programmatic and operational aspects of SharePoint usage and implementation while providing liaison and consultant capabilities for the solution of operational and management problems.
  • Conducts on-going support to identify methods/techniques for improving the use of existing hardware, software, and documentation.
  • Assesses the effectiveness of hardware, software, and communications performance and coordinates with the RACC operational leadership for improvements.
  • Maintains operating records relating to system production, performance and deficiencies.


    THIS POSITION HAS THE FOLLOWING JOB RELATED REQUIREMENTS

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • Duties and responsibilities of this position must be performed at the official work site of the Department.
