GIS OPS Position Duties:

•             Assist the lead GIS Specialist with assigned duties and tasks

•             Create static maps as requested by various DLE Staff

•             Maintain and Update maps created for disaster response

•             Convert information from different file sources into GIS information/layers

•             GPS support

•             Perform Qualitative and Quantitative analysis on mission critical data layers

•             Assist with updating and maintaining information associated with ongoing GIS Projects

  • Boating and Waterways Assets
  • Captive Wildlife Permits
  • Hunting & Fishing Licensing
  • CAD Calls
  • Citations and Warning

 

This position is 40 hours per week at a starting hourly rate of $14-$15. The location is in St. Petersburg at our Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI) facility.

The candidate selected for this position must successfully pass a level 2 background check.
