Description:

This is a professional position in the Office of Medical Marijuana Use responsible for coordination of the Office's budget and revenue.

Oversee the budget for the Office of Medical Marijuana Use to include acting as an expert of the organization’s budget structure and allocation codes Understand project budget allocations; verify monthly project costs, Run monthly budget performance reports for projects and distribute them to project managers Assist with quarterly allocations posting, Assist with communication of the budget performance reports with project managers Perform other support duties as requested.

Perform all bookkeeping activities including tracking of expenses and revenue. Maintain Office checkbook. Maintain contact with the Office of Budget Management regarding financial activities.

Prepare expenditure reports, financial audits, and financial projections on a routine basis

 

Knowledge, skills, and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:

  • Ability to maintain a budget
  • Ability to plan and execute large projects.
  • Skill in typing and computer programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
