The Work You Will Do:
The Client and Project Coordinator will work in the Office of Partnership Engagement and will manage the Reel Scout Project Management and Workforce Database, provide training and guidance to Local Film Offices in Florida, assist companies with business needs in Florida, and maintain the Film in Florida website.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
- Manage Reel Scout Project Management and Workforce Database
- Resource and Workforce Directory
- Implement and maintain Reel Crew workforce directory
- Research and vet new and updated listings
- Assist incoming productions that need assistance with crew/support services
- Approve/deny listings as needed
- Location Library
- Implement and maintain online Location Library
- Assist local film offices with location management
- Research and vet new location listings
- Approve/deny listings as needed
- Project Management Database
- Maintain project management database with project details, contact information and client communication
- Generate and report project data on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Resource and Workforce Directory
- Provide training and guidance to the more than 55 Local Film Offices in Florida:
- Best work in conjunction with our office to provide services to businesses and individuals seeking assistance in Florida
- Use the Reel Crew resource and workforce tool
- Use the Reel Scout location library tool
- Respond to location information requests via Reel Scout
- Business Development Services
- Assist companies with possible, ongoing, and future business needs in Florida:
- Sales Tax Exemption questions
- Location questions
- Permitting questions
- Send broadcast, regional, and sight-specific leads to Florida’s local film offices based on business needs
- Read scripts to determine possible locations for projects considering Florida for production
- Follow up with companies who have completed or have projects pending in the state to ensure satisfaction with services and for reporting purposes
- Respond to requests for information generated from filminflorida.com, including Location Search Forms, Location Submissions, and Workforce database requests
- State/Federal Agency Coordination
- Work with State agencies in Florida involved in permitting for productions including DEP, DJJ, DMS, DOC, DOT, FDLE, and FWC
- Work with the National Park Service to assist with permitting for Florida’s 11 National parks.
- Assist companies with possible, ongoing, and future business needs in Florida:
- Website Maintenance
- Maintain website www.filminflorida.com using Word Press
- Update content pursuant to office closure or emergency response
- Ensure contact information for local film offices is updated in the Reel Crew database
- Maintain website www.filminflorida.com using Word Press
- Handle additional tasks as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and be detail oriented.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using WordPress and/or similar website design software
- Experience with graphic design and creating marketing campaigns
Qualifications:
