This is a highly responsible position in the Division of Medicaid, Bureau of Plan Management Operations. The incumbent will have an opportunity to work in a growing and changing health care environment and learn more about the Florida Statewide Medicaid Managed Care program, with focus on Long-term Care services.

This position will support the Bureau’s Long-term Care Oversight Unit by coordinating requests to Managed Care Plans; utilizing Agency resources to identify potential non-compliance; aggregating findings of non-compliance; conducting second-level reviews of reports provided by partner agencies; identifying non-compliance trends; recommending potential opportunities to provide technical assistance; researching state and federal laws that govern the Medicaid program; and representing the Agency in local, state, and national meetings.

The incumbent will need to possess proven Medicaid experience, excellent research and writing skills, and be able to communicate effectively.


This position may require travel.

  • At least six (6) months of work experience with Medicaid.
  • At least one (1) year of experience researching and/or analyzing policy.
  • At least one (1) year of experience analyzing data.
