The mission of the Office of K-12 School Choice is to support quality public and private educational choice programs by providing information and assistance to promote successful outcomes for students, families, institutions, and communities. 

 

Position Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assist with the implementation of the Emergency Assistance to Non-Public Schools (EANS) Program.
  • Communicate with non-public schools and EANS vendor in regard to application and expenditure issues.
  • Review program applications and assist in eligibility determination.
  • Review requests for services and assistance from program participants.
  • Analyze and interpret documentation provided by program participants for applicability, accuracy, and authenticity.
  • Monitor compliance, maintaining documentation to verify compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of administrative, compliance, and performance reports.
  • Perform other work as assigned.
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree from an accredited college or university with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prepare, clear, concise and accurate records and reports
  • Excellent communication and organization skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to independently plan, organize and coordinate work assignments
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules, policies and procedures
