Description of Job Duties:

This is an entry level technical position responsible for the application of economics and finance to utility-related issues. The employee in this position is required to analyze utility filings, prepare reports, and recommendations in a timely manner and to make presentations to the Commission at Agenda Conferences. This position may work individually or as part of a team. Some assignments may require a quick turnaround deadline.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree is required in economics, finance, or mathematics, preferably with an emphasis on economics courses. The position requires close interaction with other technical and legal staff, as well as the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.  The position is also required to occasionally make public presentations.

 

Special consideration will be given to applicants with the ability to review, analyze, and evaluate data; and a demonstrated ability to prepare written products on complex technical or policy matters.

 

This position requires possession of a valid driver’s license.
