Anticipated Vacancy

 

The Office of Information Technology Services is looking for a detail-oriented Systems Programmer II to join our team. The essential function of this position within the Department is to provide highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM).  The candidate must have extensive experience in Okta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IAM systems, ensuring secure access to applications, and protecting sensitive information. This position is located at the DCF Headquarters in Tallahassee, within the Office of Information Technology Services.

 

 

EXAMPLES OF WORK:

Provisioning and management of user accounts, lifecycle security, and access controls.

Maintaining accurate documentation for internal and external customers using the agency’s identity solution and third-party tools.

Provide technical support for all services related to Microsoft Active Directory, Email, LDAP, Application security and authentication.

Participate in the research, review, evaluation, design, development and implementation of Identity and Security System Software and policies.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:

Knowledge of:  Identity and Access Management principles and best practices.  IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Azure AD, Okta).  Directory services (Active Directory, LDAP).  Authentication and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).  Regulatory frameworks relevant to social services (HIPAA, CJIS, NIST).  Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems.

Skills in:  Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).  Troubleshooting IAM and access-related issues.  Developing and managing IAM workflows and policies.  Communicating technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.  Supporting audits and compliance reviews. 

Ability to:  Analyze and interpret IAM requirements in a public sector context.  Design and implement secure access controls for sensitive data.  Work independently and collaboratively across departments.  Prioritize tasks in a high-demand, service-oriented environment.  Maintain confidentiality and integrity of client and employee identity data.

Tools and Equipment Utilized:  IAM Platforms: SailPoint, Identity Access Management, Azure AD, Okta  Directory Services: Active Directory, LDAP

Scripting Tools: PowerShell, Bash, Python; Monitoring Tools: Splunk, ELK Stack; Ticketing Systems: ServiceNow, Remedy; Remote Access Tools: SSH, RDP, VPN clients.


Preferred Qualifications:  Experience in a government or social services environment.  Familiarity with case management or eligibility systems.  Knowledge of state and federal data privacy regulations.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience integrating IAM with HR systems, case management platforms, or cloud services
