Fiscal Administrator II - Fiscal Division

Position Overview:
The Fiscal Administrator II position in the Fiscal Division is responsible for purchasing and accounts payable for our Child Support Program. The work schedule for this position is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position offers a Limited Flexible Work Schedule and Teleworking Option.
The Job Responsibilities include:
- Securing quotes and processing Purchase Orders for new equipment, furniture, supply, maintenance and services
- Researching for the best rate in the market for goods and services
- Reviewing requisitions and verifying rates with vendors
- Auditing and processing incoming invoices for payment
- Preparing monthly Expenditure portion of Invoice to Department of Revenue for reimbursement of program costs
- Preparing Monthly Encumbrance Report
- Processing Purchase Order renewals and change orders
- Monitoring vendor contracts with the state and county
- Maintaining maintenance agreements on equipment and securing maintenance renewals
- Following up with vendors on late, never received or disputed invoices
- Monitoring postage accounts balance and processing check requests: Postage by Phone, Postage Due account, PO Box and permit fees
- Monitoring property disposals
- Coordinating training and travel arrangements for all Child Support Program staff
- Performing other related duties as assigned
The Minimum Requirements are:
- Associate Degree in finance/accounting or related field and two (2) years of accounts payable and/or clerical accounting experience; OR
- High school diploma and four (4) years of accounts payable and/or clerical accounting experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of four (4) years of training and clerical accounting experience
The Preferred Qualifications and Skills are:
- Have working knowledge and ability to create and manage Excel spreadsheets

Starting Annual Salary: $35,568.00 - $77,239.68
