Brand Design Specialist, Public Affairs (01097)

The Brand Design Specialist serves as a member of the Public Affairs unit, whose role is to create awareness and inform stakeholders about the accomplishments of the State University System of Florida and the Board of Governors.

Under the direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor of Public Affairs, the Brand Design Specialist role upholds and enhances the brand management of the State University System by creating visual concepts to share the achievements and accomplishments of the State University System of Florida. The role will also include updating the website and enhancing presentations to capture the attention of the audience and visually communicate the content.

       Responsibilities, duties, and activities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure designs and presentations align with the brand style guide.
  • Create graphics to highlight the accomplishments of the State University System of Florida for posting on social media and the website.
  • Update the website regularly to feature the System’s recent achievements.
  • Enhance visual elements of presentations for Board meetings and other events.
  • Develop and/or edit graphics to display updated information and data.

Hiring Range
Salary range $35,000 - $38,000, based on qualifications and experience.
