Minimum Biweekly Rate of Pay $1,780.37 (In accordance with current spending restrictions, an internal promotion into the position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the employee's current rate, whichever is higher.)
DESCRIPTION
This position is an Operations Coordinator Position in the Northeast Region of Florida responsible for conducting site visits to residential programs to monitor programs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts multi-disciplinary case conferences and placement planning for youth recommended for commitment to the department. Ensures compliance with state regulations regarding multi-disciplinary case conferences and placement planning for committed youth, including transfer staffing.
Responsible for coordinating placement planning within existing commitment resources as well as utilizing and ensuring all appropriate data is entered into the Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS). Prepares all related reports and recommendations for corrective action and performs ongoing monitoring of corrective actions.
Coordinate regional activities required to reduce the number of committed youths awaiting placement. Visits regional commitment programs. Travels to contracted provider programs within the north region.
Utilizes the JJIS (Juvenile Justice Information System) to assess program performance, evaluate trend data and develop appropriate management strategies.

Assist with oversight of Contracted Provider facilities/services as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work.
A master’s degree from a college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience.
3-5 years’ experience working with delinquent youth in a Residential setting.
Experience conducting investigations, program reviews, and program monitoring and making recommendations based on findings.
Experience working with the DJJ incident reporting system (Central Communications Center) and Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS)
Computer Software experience such as Microsoft Office.

A valid driver's license is required.
