WHAT IS OPS EMPLOYMENT?

Other Personal Services (OPS) employment is a temporary employer/employee relationship used solely for accomplishing short term or intermittent tasks. 

OPS are at-will employees and are subject to actions such as pay changes, changes to work assignment and terminations at the recommendation of the employer.

DESCRIPTION:

This position is an OPS DJJ Operations Specialist position. The primary responsibility of this position is the review, analysis, tracking, processing, and auditing of medical reimbursements for medical services paid for by contracted providers of residential services.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the review, analysis, tracking, processing, and auditing of medical reimbursements for medical services paid for by contracted providers of residential services.

Process monthly bills related to vacant residential facilities (lawn care, water, electricity, generator, fire alarm monitoring, etc.) via state purchasing card of Ariba-On-Demand (AOD, formerly MFMP).  Process monthly Konica and Verizon bills for HQ Residential Services Office. 

Prepare, review, edit, and otherwise update a variety of reports, plans and documents relative to the HQ Residential Services Office, ensuring the documents are accurate, of a professional quality, and completed within established deadlines.

Assist with the completion of purchasing and property maintenance activities for the HQ Residential Services Office.  Duties include a variety of related tasks including order supplies and equipment; requesting quotes from various vendors, accurately processing purchase requisitions and invoices in AOD; complete an annual property inventory and process property transfer requests; ensure the prompt payment of all expenses, etc. Expertise using the AOD and Microsoft Office Suite systems is preferred.

Provide clerical assistance to the HQ leadership staff. Activities will include copying, preparing, and mailing letters; answering phones; etc.

Serve as the SkillPro Training Coordinator for Residential Services statewide by entering classes; verify completion of required annual classes; notification of required and successful completion of classes.

Assist in the annual property inventory.  Responsible for any maintenance activities as it relates to the movement of Residential property. 

Other related duties as required..

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Must have at minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preference will be given to candidates with:

- experience working in Ariba-On-Demand (AOD)and Microsoft Office Suite.

- experience processing medical reimbursements.

- years of DJJ experience.

Valid driver's license is required.
