OCCUPATION PROFILE
This is a PART TIME position working 20 to 30 hours per week. The salary ranges from $649.23 bi weekly ($16,880 yearly) to $973.80 bi weekly ($25,318.80 yearly). It is located in Gainesville.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent can substitute is required and one year of secretarial or clerical work experience; College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for the year of required secretarial or clerical work experience.
DESCRIPTION:
This is an Administrative Support position performing a variety of complex and technical duties, acting as an assistant to the supervisor. Composes and types professional correspondence requiring individual initiative and judgement. Requires skill in word processing, data entry and retrieval, and knowledge and skills in the use of major automated systems and Microsoft Office tools, such as Word and Excel, and the creation and use of tracking systems. This position also requires skills and experience in office management including but not limited to direct customer contact telephone skills, staff support, vouchering and purchase requisitioning.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position incumbent tracks and maintains Home Care for Disabled Adults (HCDA) and Community Care for Disabled Adults (CCDA) budget and expenditures. Prepares and processes vouchers for payment for the HCDA and CCDA programs for the Northeast Region. Completes purchase requisitioning, procurement and payment for Adult Protective Services units. Assist with managing waitlist for rescreening clients for CCDA/HCDA services. Assist with appropriate notifications for aging out clients. Assist with adding and changing vendors for HCDA payees. Maintains supply cabinet, inventories and orders supplies as needed. Responsible for duties relating to Records Management. Assist staff with travel reimbursement. Handles incoming calls and mail, screening and forwarding as appropriate.
The position incumbent attends trainings and meetings as directed by the supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned and keeps supervisor informed of any problems or questions relating to job duties.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Utilization of equipment, Knowledge of correct spelling, punctuation and grammar usage. Knowledge of letter, report and tabular formats. Skill in typing. Ability to operate word processing equipment. Ability to use correct spelling, punctuation and grammar. Ability to type letters, memoranda’s and other standard business forms in correct format. Ability to proofread typed material for typewritten and grammatical errors and to make necessary corrections. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
