ADVERTISING TITLE: CLINICAL CONTRACT MONITOR(DENTAL)

This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position, the location is TBD I Assigned to monitor Regions 1 & 2 in Dental Services.

The purpose of the Clinical Contract Monitor (Dental) is to ensure the delivery, monitoring, and quality of dental care for inmates in correctional institutions by conducting clinical examinations, site visits, compliance reviews, providing regional consultation, and supporting administrative oversight of dental services.

This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

JOB DUTIES:  

• Conducts institutional site visits to monitor the delivery of Dental Care provided by the outsourced Dental Partner(s) by reviewing Clinical Dental Records and when necessary, patient assessments to determine if appropriate Dental Standards are being met, including Performance Measures, Access to Care and Clinical Competency.
• Prepares reports from Dental Monitoring Activities.
• Provides Clinical Dental Consultation to Regional Health Services Staff as needed.
• Assists the Dental Services Director as needed in overseeing the provision of Dental Care by the Outsourced Dental Partner(s).
• Ensures inmates receive proper dental care by performing clinical exams, monitoring compliance with health policies during site visits, reviewing complaints, and providing regional dental support and guidance.

• Must possess an Active unrestricted Florida Dental License in accordance with FS 466 and F AC 64B5.
