Michael A. Graves, 5th Circuit Public Defender, overseeing a five county circuit, is seeking entry level attorneys for our Hernando County office, located in Brooksville, and our Sumter County office located in Bushnell.

 

Salary range is from $64,000 to $68,000 with generous State of Florida benefits. Equal Opportunity Employer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • To provide effective and professional representation of individuals charged with criminal offenses
  • Primarily handling defendants charged with misdemeanors and criminal traffic offenses

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Licensed member of the Florida Bar, in good standing
  • Willing to consider CLIs awaiting Florida Bar membership
