OPS MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR

Rate per Hour: $15.00

Paid Bi-weekly.

Other vacant OPS (Temporary) Motor Vehicle Operator positions (shifts) may be filled from this advertisement within Six (6) months of the closing date.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays
  • Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Must be willing to drive a 15 passenger van.
  • Must successfully complete our employment screening process to include, but not limited to a drug test and finger printing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience driving a large passenger van.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND EXPECTATIONS:

Works under the direct supervision of the Activities Supervisor. 

Responsible for transporting facility residents while adhering to the safety rules and regulations of the agency.

Safely transports residents following the scheduled route and accommodating special medical and approved resident transportation requests.

Maintains and cleans the state vehicles on a regular basis and reports any maintenance concerns to the Activity Supervisor and the Maintenance Superintendent.

Completes all appropriate paperwork including the transportation log, pre/post inspection sheets and daily trip log.

Responsible for training staff in accordance with FDVA driving procedures in conjunction with the Activities Supervisor.

Performs other duties as assigned.
