Compiles information pertinent to residents' individual needs and adjusting or altering menus in accordance with established procedures, using MealSuite software program. Corrects patient menus for dietary restrictions, likes, dislikes and allergies and meal patterns.

Operates computer terminal to review, post and extract dietary data, including all diet orders, following appropriate guidelines.

Classifies menu and labels accordingly. This consist of approximately 1400 residents served three meals per day.

Does Total Quality Management Monitoring: Monitoring meals twice weekly, which consist of taking temperature of food in kitchen and in unit on two wards put in tray tickets for dummy trays, complete tracking form, surveying resident on service, quality, and quantity.

Transcribes data pertaining to diet/snack order, resident transfers, admission, and discharges. Post information on computer and menus.

Maintains liaison with residential units to assure continuity of service of residents.

Maintains open communication with Dietitians.

Receives and post requests for late or early meal trays and missing trays.

While on duty, follows and carries out Florida State Hospital and department safety practices and policies.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
