Storekeeper II

Materials Management/Supply Warehouse

Florida State Hospital

Chattahoochee, Florida

This is a responsible position requiring a thorough knowledge of the inventory management system and all aspects of receiving, storing, and issuing of items issued by the supply warehouse.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Coordinate receipt, inspection, and distribution of warehouse supplies. Conduct physical inventory on a routine basis. Pull and issue supplies to units. Inspect and organize warehouse areas for space utilization, cleanliness, and safety standards. Coordinate the loading and packaging of supplies for shipments by truck and commercial carriers. Review weekly reports for low stock items. Monitor expiration dates and rotate stock. Maintain electronic files for purchase orders, shipping orders, and receiving reports. Ensure items are received in accordance with purchase orders and follow up on any discrepancies.  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to lift 75lbs

Operate fork lift

Operate pallet jack

Basic math skills for counting stock

Utilize electronic inventory system

Operate motor vehicle
