MATERIALS MANAGEMENT/RECEIVING DEPARTMENT

Florida State Hospital

Chattahoochee, FL

This is a responsible position requiring thorough knowledge of an inventory management system, MyFloridaMarketPlace/Ariba on Demand (MFMP/AOD), and all aspects of receiving, storing, and issuing of items issued by the supply warehouse.  This person performs various duties independently.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Unload delivery trucks at central receiving. Conduct deliveries throughout campus. Count, inspect, and receive supplies in inventory system & MFMP/AOD. Ensure items are received in accordance with purchase orders. Inspect and organize warehouse areas for space utilization, cleanliness, and safety standards. Coordinate the loading and packaging of supplies for shipments by truck and commercial carriers. Maintain electronic files for purchase orders, shipping orders, receiving reports, and packing slips. Prepare other reports as required by supervisor. Conduct physical inventory on a routine basis. Pull and issue supplies to units. Participate in the care and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
