This position is located at Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee in the Office of Information Technology Services.

REQUIREMENTS

At least two years of experience working in an IT environment in either a field-based support capacity or an Identity Access Management or provisioning role.
At least one year of experience supporting Windows 10 or newer Windows operating systems and compatible applications.
Technical understanding of computer hardware, software, networking systems, and troubleshooting/problem solving skills related to same.
Valid Driver’s License and possess an operational private vehicle for use in performance of daily work activities.
Working outside normal shift/business hours.
Navigate tight spaces which may involve a combination of kneeling, crawling, bending, stooping, and/or reaching.
Ability to lift 30 pounds and move equipment.
PREFERENCES
Experience in customer call documentation and tracking system/ticketing system.
Experience managing and supporting Active Directory environments.
Experience managing Group Policy Objects.
Experience working in an Information Technology Support environment.
College or trade school education in Information Technology field.
Experience in supporting Windows 11 or newer Windows operating systems & compatible applications.
Experience in support of MS Office 365 applications.

DESCRIPTION
This position performs Identity Access Management duties for Florida’s State Mental Health Treatment Facilities.
This is technical work managing objects in Active Directory, onboarding new staff, ensuring stakeholders are educated in user request processes, managing ticket workflows, and supporting the Desktop Support team at Florida State Hospital.
This work is on-site and includes on-site support and support of end-users that are working remotely.
This position is not eligible for telework.
EXAMPLES OF WORK
Administering the Agency’s Identity and Access Management solution, following the workflows of the various provisioning and deprovisioning processes, managing user permissions to network and system resources, developing and modifying Group Policy Objects, managing Active Directory permissions and objects, and ensures the principle of ‘least access’ is followed.
Provides reports and audit information for leadership, educates stakeholders on on-boarding and off-boarding workflows, maintains process documentation, identifies and reports potential security risks, and meets Service Level Agreement timelines for service delivery.
Works as a team member with provisioning personnel at other State Mental Health Treatment Facilities to provide backup support and workflow exchange as needed.
Supports the facility’s Desktop Support Team as required. Engages with other Information Technology support staff to provide assistance as needed.
Coordinates work assignments with appropriate Department staff as well as other desktop support staff. Performs necessary follow-ups with customers to ensure that requests are handled efficiently and that quality solutions are provided and recognize or analyze priority issues for escalation. Providing detailed information regarding the issues to effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner using industry best practices and procedures.
Maintains all assigned issues within the Department’s Issue Tracking System. Adds, updates and provides current status information into the Tracking System in a timely and accurate manner. Identifies and documents resolutions, sharing the documentation and findings with other team members.
Provides assistance for Voice Over IP (VOIP) phones and network connectivity troubleshooting to coordinate repairs with Regional as well as statewide support staff.
Consults with regional and outside agency customers in conducting system assessments to define customer needs and creates plans to meet them.
Performs related work as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES, including utilization of equipment, required for the position: Knowledge of Systems Administration techniques and practices in a Windows Active Directory environment; Knowledge of LDAP Identity Management Systems; Knowledge of SQL database systems; Knowledge of problem solving/troubleshooting techniques; Knowledge of technical hardware, software, and networking systems; Knowledge of customer call documentation and tracking systems; Ability to lift 30 pounds and move equipment; Ability to communicate clearly, oral and written; Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment; Ability to provide constructive customer service interactions with a positive attitude; Ability to work independently; Ability to handle stressful situations.
