MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
 

A high school diploma or its equivalent.
 

Possession of a valid Driver License.

JOB DUTIES:
 

  • Annual cutback and seasonal pruning of citrus trees. 
  • Raking leaves and clearing greenhouse of cutback debris.
  • Tree planting.
  • Keeping greenhouse clear of weeds by periodic herbicide application.
  • Irrigation maintenance and repair.
     

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
 

  • Basic knowledge of plant cultivation.
  • Familiar with hand and gardening tools.
  • Able to work in a greenhouse environment.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. bend repetitiously.
  • Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, and humid environments.
  • Ability to walk on uneven ground and in inclement weather.
