The Work You Will Do:
Construction Compliance Specialist District 3 / District Construction
This position will provide oversight and guidance to District CEI Resident Compliance Specialists, including project audits and offering technical assistance.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Reviews and evaluates compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity /Wages/On-the-Job Training procedures. Completes Construction Contract Compliance Administration (CCCA) reviews on all assigned Resident Compliance Specialists to include scheduling, reviewing documents and distributing and tracking findings. Completes follow up Construction Compliance Administration (CCCA) reviews as needed
Provides technical assistance to consultants and contractors. Conducts offered training courses both virtually and in-person. Assists in preparation of presentations and handouts. Presents assigned materials at training courses.
Attends preconstruction conferences of assigned Resident Compliance Specialists virtually and in-person. Discusses Contract Compliance requirements as needed.
Assists in project site visits as needed to conduct labor interviews or Contract Compliance Review interviews.
Conducts quarterly site visits to conduct job-site bulletin board inspections.
Develops, maintains and applies comprehensive and practical knowledge of related Federal laws, Florida Statutes, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requirements, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) procedures and operating practices of contractors and other Districts. Communicates with district staff observations, trends, problems, etc. and assists in achieving consistency and compliance of all program matters; completes various reports of work activities.
Assists in the district’s risk-based reviews of contractors to include prompt pay audits, subcontract audits, etc. Duties related to this aspect can change yearly based on the district’s risks.
Participate in any training provided by United States Department of Labor (USDOL), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) as deemed necessary by the District Contract Compliance Manager (DCCM).

Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or its equivalent; 2 years experience in a related field can substitute for a high school diploma or equivalency
