DOT Intern – D3
This position will assist with providing computer support for District 3 offices.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Assists with providing user support for personal computers (PC) and peripheral equipment.
Assists with performing basic troubleshooting to resolve support tickets.
Assists with replacing or reconfiguring existing computers or other equipment as needed.
Assists with reserving, setting up, and troubleshooting of Audio Visual (AV) and Video Conference (VC) equipment.
The Successful Candidate will have the following required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
- basic computer software, hardware, and firmware relative to personal computers
Ability to:
- install and provide technical support for software applications and operating systems
- communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- read, understand, and comply with the department's policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide identification supporting citizenship or authority to work for the duration of program participation.
- Participants are required to comply with all statutes and rules and the Department’s policies, procedures, regulations, and Code of Ethics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: You will be required to provide your Social Security Number to conduct required verifications. Male applicants born on or after October 1, 1962, will not be eligible for hire or promotion in the Career Service, or appointment in the Selected Exempt Service (SES) or Senior Management Service (SMS), unless they are registered with the Selective Service System (SSS) before their 26th birthday, or have a Letter of Registration Exemption from the SSS.
