Examples of Work Performed
Oversees access badge system for employees, vendors, and others. Performs badge creation/updates/replacement as needed as a backup. Maintain interior door access controls including access system, keys, key codes, etc. Maintains security database.
Maintains security access system including making changes to, responding to, ensuring working order of alarms on outside doors, vaccine refrigeration units, and interior nighttime motion/sound sensors. Works with assigned staff to maintain, replace, and add security cameras as needed at all VCHD sites. Reviews security video when necessary.
Oversees all security related service agreements and provides direct input to vendors when necessary. Make recommendations and collect cost data on projects and anticipated replacement schedules for existing security systems. Arrange for and supervise security personnel through contract services when necessary.
Oversees ensuring proper signage is posted at each of our sites when the buildings will be closed. Coordinates with other agencies that are housed in our buildings to ensure they have access if needed on days/times that our offices are closed.
Oversees mandatory training for all employees, volunteers, interns and contract staff. Ensures that employees complete new employee, annual and other required trainings by established deadlines. Establishes users and training classes in training system. Provides backup for TRAIN Administrator. Maintains local databases and information. Provides reports to administration and staff as requested.

Qualifications:
