This position is with Adult Protective Services for North/Northeast Region.


The Human Services Counselor III is responsible for the arrangement and/or the provision of the services to eligible Adult Protective Services clients, living in the community or in state licensed facilities.  The counselor provides intensive case management services for the following programs:  Community Care for Disabled Adults (CCDC), Home Care for Disabled Adults (HCDA), Protective Intervention and Protective Supervision. 


Referral for services are made by the investigation units and may involve court appearance(s).  This position provides support to the investigation units, which handle investigations of abuse, neglect and exploitation of the disabled and vulnerable adults ages 18 to 59, as well as the elderly.


The Annual Salary is $15,600.00.


This position is a part-time, 20 hours per week, and located in Volusia County, FL; however, cases may be assigned within the region.


A valid driver's license and daily transportation are required.
