The Office of the State Attorney, Seventh Judicial Circuit, is seeking a creative and motivated Multimedia Specialist to produce compelling visual and digital content that informs the public, supports recruitment efforts, and highlights the work of the office. This position is responsible for video production, photography, graphic design, and digital content management. The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller with excellent communication skills who can manage multiple projects, maintain the office identity, and effectively engage a variety of audiences.

 

Position: Multimedia Specialist

 

Job location: Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia Counties. The main office is in Daytona Beach.

 

Salary: $50,000

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Video Production: Film and edit videos, including public service announcements, podcast episodes, and others related to cases, recruitment, newsletters, and special office projects.
  • Photography: Capture and edit photographs of court proceedings, office events, staff recognitions, and community outreach activities for use on social media, websites, and newsletters.
  • Graphic Design: Design engaging visual content that supports the office's communications goals, including social media graphics, newsletters, presentations, and event materials.
  • Digital Content Management: Manage and publish content across the office's digital platforms, including social media accounts and websites. Schedule and monitor posts, maintain website content, organize digital media assets, and ensure online content is timely, accurate, accessible, and aligned with the office's communications strategy.

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (or working toward a Bachelor’s Degree) in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Video Production, or a related field; or two years of experience in a related field
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of AP Style
  • Hands-on experience with professional cameras, lighting kits, and audio recording equipment
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred, hands-on experience with video editing software required
  • High proficiency in Canva
  • Hands-on experience managing content on major social media platforms and websites
  • Ability to travel throughout Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia counties and occasionally work evenings or weekends to cover office events, community outreach activities, or other assignments as needed
