This position provides high‑level administrative leadership for District Five Office Operations, ensuring effective oversight of personnel, fiscal processes, and administrative support functions. Serves as the primary liaison with the Human Resources office, coordinating required reporting and ensuring consistent application of personnel policies.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Performs high level administrative work, overseeing administrative support functions for District Five Office Operations. Supervises, directs and advises District Office Operations (Maintenance, Construction, and Traffic Operations) administrative support personnel assuring the most effective and efficient means of accomplishing workloads. Provides leadership and guidance as needed to administrative staff to foster growth and development. Promotes and emphasizes teamwork and customer service.
Provides oversight and assistance to field Operations Office Managers on personnel, fiscal and other administrative matters. Performs field unit reviews with field unit office. Identifies and resolves operational and management problems to ensure administrative needs of field units are being met. Acts as liaison with Human Resource office in providing information and reports requested and personnel policies into effect. Develops and performs regular Quality Assurance Reviews of district office operations and local field operations units on administrative related functions and duties. Advises all relative to administrative policies and procedures, providing guidance as needed to ensure district and statewide consistency.
Performs special assignments that include research and report preparation on both technical and administrative subjects for all District Operations staff. Independently investigates circumstances concerning various district-wide complaints, requests and other such matters and compiles responses to various forms of correspondence in completed form to the general public, other department heads and elected officials as may be required.
Oversees the purchasing and office support functions for District Office Operations. Ensures purchasing cards transactions and vendor invoices are processed promptly and accurately. Monitors and maintains records of expenditure to analyze District Operations budget to determine trends and makes recommendations as needed with those responsible for budget to ensure a balanced District Operations budget.
Handles training coordination and travel related items in accordance with current policies associated with it for District Office Operations staff. Coordinates documents/data required for hardware/software inventory, transfers and maintains property records for District Office Operations and outlying field Operations Units.
Oversees and manages the electronic document management of District Office Operations. Assists field operations units with the same as needed.
