MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

A high school diploma or its equivalent.

 

Requires a valid driver license.

Occasional to moderate travel required.

 

Position may respond to emergencies, including natural disasters or other type incidents requiring travel, as needed.

 

This position is located at 5583A Longleaf Road, Ebro, Florida at Pine Log State Forest in Washington County.

JOB DUTIES:

 

  • Clean and stock restrooms
  • Sweep floors, wipe down counters and sinks
  • Blow off areas around BBQ grills and other fixed structures at trailheads
  • Brush cobwebs from pavilion rafters, under benches & tables, and on exterior of structures
  • Remove ashes from BBQ grill and fire rings if needed
  • Conduct general maintenance of the site to include plumbing repairs and replacement of camping or trailhead signs/kiosks
  • Remove fallen limbs, debris, & trash from grounds
  • Mowing, weed-eating, and general landscaping
  • Clean office areas, trash receptacles, and restrooms
  • Assist in other projects as needed
