Description of Responsibilities and Duties



This position is responsible for minimizing risk and assure the safety of our facilities including testing sites with controlled access and screening of all staff, other healthcare providers and guests. Duties  include temperature checks,  screening assessments, making sure all employees and guest maintain appropriate social distancing of 6 feet as recommended by CDC guidelines, and  determine if an individual is clear to enter the facilities. 

Distribution of personal protective equipment to  employees and guest seeking access to our buildings.  The established screening guidelines and processes as well as the role of screener are an important part of controlling transmission of the Covid 19 virus.



This position involves accurately enter data and scanning a high volume of confidential information’s into a database.  Identify and correct data entry using appropriate quality control methods. Provide general data entry support for Contact Tracers and medical staff.

Enters client data into the COVID-19 Appointment Data System,   schedules client’s appointments.



This position requires independent problem solving and decision making skills.  Work is performed at COVID-19 testing sites locations outdoors throughout Broward County.  Schedules clients by telephone and in person for Corvid Testing services that are needed. Maintain orderly customer queues. 

Performs other related duties as assigned



  • Ability to communicate effectively and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent typing and computer skills needed including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ethical understanding of confidentiality and personal health information (PHI) data Management.

    Preferred Qualification:
  •  Able to work  including a flexible schedule late evening  and weekend hours as determined by program needs.
  • Experience in customer service.
    Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.  Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.
