Salary:                   $35,000 Annual Salary.  We are paid on a monthly basis.

 

Description:  

 

This is a fast-paced position that involves a wide range of clerical duties including maintaining personnel records, handling confidential matters, dealing with employee inquiries, compiling data, preparing reports, scheduling meetings/events, answering phone calls, coordinating applicants through the background process, as well as other general clerical duties.  The ability to work under deadlines is critical to ensuring success.  Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook (calendars), Word (mail merge documents) and Excel.  Must also have knowledge of routine clerical procedures, preparing correspondence, ability to scan and upload documents, organize and coordinate work activities including processing new hires and terminations.  Assist employees with online benefit resources (i.e., People First, Flair, FRS, etc.).

 

Education and Training:

Any combination of training and experience equivalent to graduation from a standard high school or an equivalency diploma.  Prior work experience in an office environment is helpful.

  • Dependable, responsible and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

  • Maintain personnel records, keeping in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Process employment applications and interview schedules.
  • Have a desire and willingness to develop additional skills in the Human Resources profession.
  • Must maintain high level of confidentiality in all matters.

  • Annual Leave All full-time employees who are filling established positions shall earn annual leave as shown below. Part-time employees will earn leave time on a pro-rated basis according to number of hours worked. (Days per year reflected as “d.p.y.”):

  • Sick Leave All full-time employees shall be credited with 8 hours and 40 minutes per month of sick leave, equaling 13 days per year. Part-time employees will earn leave time on a pro-rated basis according to number of hours worked.

 

  • Holidays The following holidays, as provided by the Florida Statutes, shall be observed as paid holidays:

 

         New Year’s Day           Memorial Day                    Labor Day     Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend

        Martin Luther King Day Independence Day  Veteran’s Day         Christmas Holiday

      *Plus other holidays designated by the State Attorney

 

  • Direct Deposit Convenient direct deposit is required for monthly payroll (paid on last working day of the month).
