POSITION TITLE:  OPS – 20 hours per week

DESCRIPTION:

This is a fast-paced position that involves a wide range of clerical duties including maintaining personnel records, handling confidential matters, dealing with employee inquiries, compiling data, preparing reports, scheduling meetings/events, answering phone calls, coordinating applicants through the background process, as well as other general clerical duties. The ability to work under deadlines is critical to ensuring success. Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook (calendars), Word (mail merge documents), Excel and also have knowledge of routine clerical procedures, prepare correspondence, ability to scan and upload documents, organize and coordinate work activities including processing new hires and terminations. Assist employees with online benefit resources (i.e. People First, Flair, FRS, etc.).

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

Any combination of training and experience equivalent to graduation from a standard high school or an equivalency diploma.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Dependable and responsible.

Organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task and prioritize duties.

Knowledge of routine clerical procedures.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Willing to learn new tasks and be part of an evolving environment.

Project a professional image in person, on the phone and through email correspondence.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Maintain personnel records, keeping in compliance with applicable regulations.

Must maintain high level of confidentiality in all matters.
