What you will do:

  • Prepares legal documents for all legal cases handled in the circuit.
  • Processes records requests, responses to subpoenas for records and requests to produce.
  • Maintains case and other administrative files as well as court calendars.
  • This is administrative work assisting an official in the operation of program or work unit. The employee assigned to this position in this class researches and gathers data and prepares written reports; independently initiates special projects; interprets policy; provides guidance and assistance; and makes independent conclusions based on data available.
  • Research, compile, prepare and preserve data for assistance in administrative decisions.
  • Coordinates collection and presentation of data for use in legal process.
  • Prepares and maintains status reports for the court.
  • Maintains a filing system for all legal matters.
  • Reviews, analyzes and prepares drafts of memoranda and correspondence for legal matters.
  • Prepares motions, petitions, and orders for Chapter 415 actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
