This is a full-time Career Service position.
Regular business hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, Monday to Friday.
Location: Open statewide. The position location will be based on selected candidate.
THIS IS NOT A TELEWORK POSITION. CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE OFFICE.

Minimum qualifications:
- Must be a current FL Economic Self Sufficiency (ESS) DCF employee.
- Seven (7) years of experience in the ESS Program, supporting statewide operations with knowledge of ESS policy and operations related to government assistance programs such as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, and Medicaid, and familiarity with planning and operating the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program during emergencies.
- Ability to travel regularly, including overnight travel.
Preference may be given to candidates that meet the following criteria:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Two years’ experience collecting and analyzing data to create documents that record established processes.
- Two years’ experience leading, planning, and monitoring effective implementation strategies for large ESS projects such as regional or statewide Corrective Action Plans.
- Two years’ experience using high level skills to organize and communicate verbally and in writing.
What you will do:
This is a statewide position tasked with assisting with special projects, implementation activities, and case reviews for the statewide ESS Program operational teams. The incumbent for this position will have extensive ESS knowledge, specifically in determining eligibility in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Medicaid along with procedural knowledge of how the program is designed to operate. This position will serve at the direction of the Director of Statewide Operations and support the ESS regional operations teams. This position will require travel throughout the state to meet with regional contacts and to attend meetings with Headquarters ESS Program management in Tallahassee.
