JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Senior Tax Specialist position in the General Tax Administration Program's, Receivables Management, Field Operations - Collection Process. The incumbent provides a high level of procedural support in coordination of service center enforcement actions to improve completion and continually improve the Systems for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX) and Collection Analytics system related issues. The incumbent will be actively involved in the analysis of financial records and database applications utilized in tax administration.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue in the General Tax Administration Program's, Receivables Management Process.
  • Three years of experience performing tasks related to post-warrant tax collections within the General Tax Administration Program's Field Collections Process.      

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position travels locally to taxpayers’ business locations. In addition, occasional overnight travel may be necessary for training purposes. For all travel, you will use your own means of transportation. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to agency policy. 
  • The successful candidate will be permitted to report to their current service center location.

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $5,327.09 monthly/$63,925.08 annually.
