Salary:  $31,200 ($15.00/hour)- $41,600 ($20.00/hour)

Duties and Responsibilities may consist of but are not limited to: 



  • Fill and pre-pack medication orders including daily refills.  Assist pharmacists in processing new medication orders and deliver completed orders to the Clinic Drug Room.  Restock medication carts throughout the Center.
  • Manage inventory keeping medication overstock to a minimum while maintaining adequate inventory that meets daily demands.  Place on-line orders. Receive, check, and stock medications.  Ensure credits are requested and received in a timely manner.  Resolve any issues that may arise while ordering and receiving pharmaceuticals.  Maintain perpetual inventory of all pharmaceuticals including daily medication audits.  Rotate inventory and return those medications that are overstocked or are no longer used.
  • Maintain adequate stock of drug dispensing packaging, medication labeling, and forms.
  • Organize and maintains pharmacy logbooks, issue documents, and drug receipts.
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Answer telephone. Operate computer programs, copy machines, hand held drug ordering device, fax machine and calculator.  Order office supplies.
  • Check and pull expiring drugs monthly from the Pharmacy, Clinic Drug Room, Emergency Medical Kit, and Clinic Physician's stock.
  • Complete monthly Medication Room inspections.
  • Perform related duties as required.
    Knowledge, skills, and abilities, including utilization of equipment required for the position:

  • Phone, Fax and Computer knowledge 
    Licensure/ Registration/ Certification Requirements: 

  • Florida Pharmacy Technician License Required. Certification may constitute as experience.
