SALARY RANGE
$34,760.00 - $38,236.00 $1,336.92 - $1,470.62 Biweekly

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The person in this position works for the office of the Tacachale Integrated Programs & Services (TIPS) Operations & Management Consultant II.
Manages the office, including but not limited to answering incoming calls, distributing daily mail, using equipment such as a copier and laminating machine, ordering office supplies, and loaning out small equipment such as iPads and cameras.
Provides administrative assistance, including but not limited to preparing memos and correspondence, preparing meeting minutes, tracking staff annual physicals, training and in-services, preparing a weekly short hour report, scheduling interviews, preparing hiring packets and maintaining vehicle logs.
Assists at center wide and department resident activities and events. Prepares and maintains monthly calendar of resident activities and events. Serves on Planning Committee, assisting in the coordination of major annual resident events such as the Tree Lighting and Rock the Block. Enter resident attendance at activities and events data into our tracking system . Assists with the preparation of activity and event flyers and materials.
Coordinates TIPS accounting functions including but not limited to maintaining and reconciling spreadsheets of the TIPS Department’s Trust Account expenditures, reporting budget needs to Operations & Management Consultant II. Oversee shopping forms and cash for the TIPS Department and reconciles funds daily at the Tacachale Accounting Office and secures funds in a safe. Prepare requisitions in MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) for expense items.
Performs other related duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Must be proficient in using office equipment.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- One (1) year experience working in an office setting, providing administrative assistance.
This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of:
- Computer software, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
- Filing systems.
- Typing memorandums and various systems.
- Developing and implementing tracking systems.
Ability to:
- Maintain efficient and organized filing and tracking systems.
- Type efficiently.
- Interact with all customers in a professional manner.
- Work as part of a team.

As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
No applicant for a designated position will be employed or permitted to volunteer until the Level 2 screening results are received, reviewed, and approved by the Agency.
Level 2 background screening shall include, but not be limited to, fingerprinting for Statewide criminal and juvenile records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and Federal criminal records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation and may include local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
