Scheduling for psychiatric clinics, annual evaluation, intake and discharge evaluations, as well as emergency consultations. Transcription of psychiatric reports, and communications skills using appropriate medical terminology.
Clinic preparation- charts, data collection, verification of current lad diagnosis, patient work-ups, collecting physicians’ data sheets for both emergency and regular patient seem in clinic.
Organization of files, direct communications whit Physicians, Clinical Behavioral Specialist, Social Service Counselors, Nurses, and Home staff.
Produce data sheets and forms for tracking annuals, returns, current, and previous patients. Filter prior authorization forms, calendar, and scheduling for psychiatrist.
Create data files of pending clinic files to be rewritten based on previous clinics. Input clinic summaries and distributing to the various disciplinarians.
Gathering and monitoring appropriate programs of treatment for psychiatrist
Work with other disciplinaries as a part of the treatment team to provide overall treatment programs for the residents.
Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position:
Microsoft Windows, MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Calendar and scheduling. Network, People First (time and attendance). Medical and psychiatric terminology, written & oral communication, organizational skills, Administrative practices and principle in the medical department such as filling, computer, fax machine, and copier.
