SALARY RANGE
$33,760.00 - $37,136.00 Annually $1,298.46 - $1,428.31 Biweekly

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for the supervision of all warehouse operations and controlling all functions of the receiving department, issuing department, and storage warehouse. The primary duties are motivation, training, evaluating, and directing employees to work and workloads. Coordinates, develops, and implements departmental policies and regulations pertaining to the General Services functional areas of Property and Inventory for Tacachale facilities.
Supervise, motivate, direct, encourage and maximize work efforts of subordinates under this supervision: to take a proactive role in job performance. Plan and schedule assignments and responsibilities under this supervision. Evaluates and trains employees in methods of performing an effective and efficient job. Inservice home staff, Custodial staff, and contracted staff on the proper use of the Micro-Mopping Systems, Green Works Cleaning System, and the ECO -Lab Laundry Systems. Inspects systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
Ensure all evaluations are completed and turned into Human Resources at the scheduled time and date. Documents and discusses below standard performance with employee. Supervise and participate in receiving, unpacking, storing, and issuing of all stock received at the Tacachale Warehouse. Inspect all commodities received and shipped to the Tacachale Warehouse for accuracy and quality. Ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain appropriate stock levels in the warehouse. Writes SIMS (Supply Inventory Management System) generated receiving reports for all commodities received per SIMS Purchas Orders per quantity. Noting overages/shortages for change order to be done before inputting into SIMS.
Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organized and hazard free. Set and discuss Policies and Procedures with subordinates, follow all Personnel Policies and procedures.
Develop Operating Procedures and/or Standards for use by Institutional Property Management at Tacachale which is to: Maintain all required records for a wide variety of accountable equipment and materials, i.e., the daily property journal, monthly ledger for general, fixed assets and property cards.
Assign and supervise the assigning of property number and tags to accountable equipment, record age, inventory and complete required reports related to inventory. Initiate forms for the deletion and transfer of equipment. Advise and provide assistance to all property custodians. Assist Accounting in the preparation of year-end financial statements and the reconciliation to SAMAS. Annually review and update insurance coverage on all Tacachale buildings and property. Process and track insurance claims as required.
Answer any questions concerning receiving area functions. Work with department on any discrepancies with deliveries or delivery company. Coordinates with outside vendors to bring in new product(s) that are cost effective to Tacachale. Making sure that all products meet or exceed the requirements for Tacachale.
Back up Tacachale Property Administrator III as required. Provide immediate assistance to all Tacachale staff as the need arises.
Performs other related duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- A valid Florida Driver’s License.
- If hired with an out-of-state license a valid Florida State driver’s license must be obtained within 30 days.
- Corrective Lenses Restricted license are acceptable provided the driver wears the corrective lenses while operating a state vehicle.
- Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
